TRADING PLACES: Pierre Cardin is opening a new museum in central Paris. The Space Age couturier will inaugurate the space, located on Rue Saint-Merri in the Marais district of Paris, on Nov. 13. He recently closed the Musée Pierre Cardin, located in the northern Paris suburb of Saint-Ouen, and is transferring part of its exhibits to the new venue. The new museum will host more than 200 haute couture designs ranging from Cardin’s first collection in 1953 to his famed Bubble dress, in addition to accessories such as hats, eyewear, jewelry and shoes.
