SENYK TAPPED: Tranoï trade show has teamed with Johanna Senyk, founder of the Wanda Nylon label and 2016 ANDAM fashion prize winner, for the upcoming Tranoï Paris: Women’s edition, which is slated to run from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3 at three locations — Cité de la Mode et du Design, Carrousel du Louvre and Palais de la Bourse.

Tranoï is to present the Wanda Nylon runway show at the Cité de la Mode et du Design on Sept. 28 at 9 p.m., which is on Paris Fashion Week’s official calendar, as part of the inaugural edition of its Tranoï’s Curated by project. The initiative also includes an on-site installation and a “takeover” of the artistic identity and the signage of the Cité de la Mode et du Design venue by Senyk.

“For years, Tranoï has collaborated with designers and artists that are at the forefront of the creative climate. Designers such as Rick Owens, Acne Studios, Dries Van Noten, Manish Arora and Bernhard Willhelm have all lent their talents to the identity of the Tranoï trade show. We’re thrilled that Johanna has accepted to be the latest designer to collaborate with our team,” stated David Hadida, Tranoï chief executive officer. “We are delighted to be the guest of the season and to give a dynamic visual twist to the Cité de la Mode et du Design with the themes of our spring 2017 collection,” Senyk said.
