TRUSSARDI’S TURN: Trussardi celebrated the opening of its first Chinese store with an event in Shanghai on Sept. 6. The Italian company, which inaugurated its two-story, 4,306 square-foot boutique located in the historical building of Shanghai’s Yifeng Galleria, organized a retrospective at the venue consisting of 101 pictures showing the history of the brand founded in Bergamo, near Milan, in 1911.

The same night, Trussardi hosted a runway show on the top floor of the Peninsula Hotel, presenting its women’s and men’s fall/winter 2012 collections to a number of Chinese guests, including actress Pace Wu and actor Fan Liao, who also closed the show.
