The line will include dog carriers, collars, leashes, doghouses, embroidered knits, sweatshirts, coats and down jackets, all embellished with Trussardi’s signature greyhound logo.
“Trussardi for Your Dog” will be distributed in selected pet shops, international department stores, as well as in some of the brand’s boutiques.
In order to affirm its image of lifestyle brand, Trussardi, which under the guidance of chief executive officer Tomaso Trussardi is repositioning in the accessible luxury market, has developed a series of licenses in the last couple of years. These include an agreement with Morellato Group, signed in July 2014, for the launch of a watch line, as well as an additional one with De Rigo Vision, which started manufacturing and distributing Trussardi eyewear collection in July 2015. Last April, the Milan-based fashion house also teamed up with Dynamiq Yachts to develop an exclusive bot interior design collection.
