It’s time for new alliances at Trussardi.

After teaming with Brave Kid for the brand’s junior line, the label announced on Nov. 23 a three-year licensing agreement inked with Italian tailoring specialist Lardini for the production and worldwide distribution of a new formalwear line for men. Called Trussardi Elegance, the line will debut with the fall 2017 collection, which will be unveiled during Milan mens’s Fashion Week in January.

“We’re pleased to work with Lardini to actively enter the men’s formalwear sector,” said Tomaso Trussardi, chief executive officer at the family company, praising the brand’s new partner.

“This partnership unites two Italian companies that both appreciate tasteful aesthetics and are known for their elegance,” said Lardini’s president Andrea Lardini.

For Trussardi Elegance’s first season, 3-D textures will be offered in traditional colors, enhanced by burgundy and beige tones. Particular care will also be reserved to silhouettes and fabrics, with refined, deconstructed garments at the core of the collection, which will be available next year at select Trussardi stores and department stores worldwide.

The Lardini brand will present its own new men’s collection at Pitti Uomo‘s next edition, running Jan. 10 to 13.
