ALL ABOUT EVA: Lively chatter and a thumping bass by D.J. Kris Bones filled Eva Longoria’s Hollywood restaurant Beso Thursday night, where Vanity Fair and Chrysler teamed up to celebrate her foundation, which helps provide educational and entrepreneurial support to Latinas. “We’re trying to do what’s called philanthropic capitalism. It makes charities stay sustainable so they can fund themselves,” said Longoria, who was all smiles as friends such as Victoria Beckham, Kate Beckinsale, Felicity Huffman, Venus and Serena Williams and Ken Paves came out to show their support. Following on the heels of her Victoria, Victoria Beckham fall 2012 show, the designer said it was nice to be home. “It’s great to be in Los Angeles to socialize in Oscar week and really take the fun element and enjoy it,” said Beckham. “She’s a fantastic girl’s girl. If your car broke down at 4 in the morning she’s the friend who would come to your rescue,” said Beckinsale. Longoria, who will spend Oscar weekend speaking at the University of Texas, said she felt honored to have everyone celebrate her foundation. “I feel so touched,” she said.
