The winners of the Versace competition called ‘’Seven Bags for Seven Cities’’ have been revealed.
The participants were asked to photograph an iconic building in their respective cities — Beijing, Paris, Hong Kong, Milan, São Paolo, Tokyo and New York — to customize a limited-edition Palazzo Empire bag model defined by Versace’s staple Medusa head.
The Beijing bag is marked by the Yonghegong Tibetan Buddhist temple in yellow and pink. The Eiffel Tower stands out on the Paris bag in red and the purple. Other examples are Hong Kong’s Clock Tower; the Brooklyn Bridge for New York; Mount Fuji for Tokyo, and the Hand of the Memorial of America Latina for São Paolo.
Ten pieces per city will be available at Versace’s flagships in each city.
The seven winners have secured a trip to Milan to attend the Versace spring 2017 show that will be held on Sept. 23.
