BRAVO, MILANO: Versace is launching a capsule collection that pays tribute to its hometown.

Called the Ornamental Collection, the capsule will be on sale starting Friday — the day the world Expo begins — both through Versace’s e-commerce site, and at the brand’s boutique in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, Milan’s 150,695-square foot landmark shopping arcade, which Versace helped to restore.

Shoppers will be able to browse a range of Versace sneakers, textiles and Palazzo bags, all with Baroque details to the hilt, against a backdrop of the Galleria’s domed glass ceiling, which will be tinted red.
