The designer was recently photographed for the May issue and after Beckham shared the images with her 9.8 million followers, attention was drawn to the designer’s thigh gap and speculation ensued whether or not her leg was Photoshopped.
“Loved working on this shoot for @voguechina May issue” Beckham wrote on Instagram.
“The photo shows the shirt tucked under the leg, resulting in a trick of the eye that the tabloids have erroneously picked up on,” said a spokeswoman for the brand. “There is no Photoshopping controversy to comment on.”
The black-and-white image pictured a poised Beckham dressed in her pre-fall white button-down shirt, standing on one foot while tucking the other leg close to her body.
Beckham was featured on the cover of the issue, photographed by Sølve Sundsbø, which went on sale last Saturday.
Vogue China was unreachable for comment.
