MILAN’S SECRET: American lingerie and beauty products retailer Victoria’s Secret, part of L Brands, inaugurated its first two Beauty & Accessories stores on Thursday in Milan, located in central shopping streets Via Torino 13 and Corso Vercelli 20.
The interior of the stores has black cherry wood shelves, black-and-white photos and media walls broadcasting movies of the Victoria’s Secret Angels. The new stores offer fragrances, bath and body products, small leather goods, travel accessories, soft scarves, sunglasses and a selection of lingerie items.
Victoria’s Secret sells its products across the U.S. and Canada in more than 1,000 doors, via the e-commerce site and mail catalogue, but has not built up a strong presence in Europe yet. With 10 stores in the U.K. and sales points at selected airports such as Malpensa and Linate in Milan, the company signed a franchise agreement with Percassi — known for its beauty brands Kiko Milano and Madina — last March to open the new stores.
