With Threeasfour’s newest collection a collaboration with and homage to Yoko Ono, it was not surprising to find the trio’s muse in the front row, along with her son Sean Lennon. He and Ono worked together on her new CD, “Between My Head and the Sky,” which supplied the show’s soundtrack. “It’s very exciting,” said Ono, who donned Threeasfour gloves for the occasion. Lennon, meanwhile, admitted that as much fun as he had collaborating with his mother, it was also a challenge at times. “I was trying to produce, but she was my mom,” he said.
Lennon isn’t a fashion week regular but admitted he wouldn’t mind going to more shows. “I never get invited to the ones I want to go, to like Alexander McQueen or John Galliano,” he said. “Somehow, I am just not considered cool enough.”
