Woolrich John Rich & Bros. parka

HAVE WOOL, WILL TRAVEL: Woolrich John Rich & Bros. and The Woolmark Co. have teamed up in support of photographer Jackie Nickerson’s exhibition, “The Woolrich Mill: Tradition and the Future of Wool.” Shot in the 186-year-old Woolrich Woolen Mills in Woolrich, Pa., Nickerson set out to document the brand’s blending of the traditional and innovative in its approach to craftsmanship.

Nickerson used some of these images in Woolrich John Rich & Bros. fall ad campaign.

Beginning Thursday, the traveling exhibition will arrive at the WP store in Milan and continue to flagships in London, Berlin, Amsterdam, New York and Tokyo.

Throughout the month, the boutiques will offer a deeper perspective into the versatility of wool, inaugurating the launch of the new Merino Wool Arctic Parka for fall-winter 2016, a highlight of the collaboration between Woolrich and The Woolmark Co. The parka is made of Loro Piana’s 100 percent Merino Storm System fabric.
