Yoox Group is strengthening its ties to the movie industry. After producing Alison Chernick’s “The Artist Is Absent” documentary on fashion designer Martin Margiela, the Italian e-tailer has teamed up with Italian film institution Cineteca di Bologna to restore Federico Fellini’s legendary movie “Amarcord.”

The movie, which was released in 1973, portrays the daily life of common people in the seaside resort town of Rimini in the Thirties.

The restored version of “Amarcord” will be unveiled at the next Venice Film Festival in September.
