DALLAS — The Dallas Market Center has promoted four directors of retail development to vice presidents of marketing and elevated three other executives.
Amy Harper has been named vice president of marketing for apparel and accessories. Harper has long served as a liaison between the marketplace and women’s and men’s fashion retailers.
Meredith King becomes vice president of major stores and events, charged with developing relationships with key retailers and buying groups and providing them with an elevated experience at shows.
Michael Bauer has been appointed vice president of marketing for the home and design industries and Richard Wisnieski has assumed that role for gifts.
The company also promoted three vice presidents to senior vice president: Donna Foster in human resources, Bob Storer in protective services and Jeff Bachman in information technology.
“Each of these industrious and resourceful individuals are invaluable members of our team,” said Cindy Morris, DMC president and chief executive officer. “They play an important leadership role in the growth of our core business and they will continue to support our marketplace momentum in their new roles.”
The complex hosts 50 markets annually and presents a wide range of wholesale goods across five million square feet.
