E-Pitti, the portal of Florence-based trade producer Pitti Immagine launched with FieraDigitale in 2011, is adding more services.
In particular, it teamed with Turin-based company Nextatlas to provide a new trends analysis service available for the site’s users.
Nextatlas developed a unique system, based on algorithms, which is able to analyze data from the most important social media, including Twitter, Instagram and Tumbler, in order to highlight the most important current trends all over the world.
Through this partnership, E-Pitti’s users, who are mainly buyers, have access to a wide range of constantly updated visual moodboards and reports offering them an insight of the market and the trend launched and developed by digital influencers.
“We are at the first stage of a path aimed at getting deeper and deeper into the analysis of data in order to give relevant information to professionals and this is possible only through the online,” said Fiera Digitale chief executive officer Francesco Bottigliero.
“Of course, this has in impact also on the organization of the trade show because this data can help us understand which are the areas we have to improve and develop,” said Raffaello Napoleone, ceo of Pitti Immagine.
E-Pitti also said that for the third time it will be the partner of Decoded Fashion, the international summit dedicated to fashion, technology and start-ups, which will host a two-day event in Milan on Nov. 17 and 18.
The January edition of Pitti Uomo’s digital trade show registered a 45 percent increase in the number of visitors, compared to the same period in 2014. FieraDigitale closed the fiscal year with revenues of 1.5 million euros, or $1.83 million at average exchange rate, and a net profit equal to 7 percent of revenues.
