The companies that own Ellen Tracy and Caribbean Joe are entertaining offers to source the apparel brands, WWD has learned.

Hilco Consumer Capital Corp. and Windsong Brands LLC, the primary owners of Fashionology Group LLC, which operates those apparel businesses, have been approached by multiple interested parties and have enlisted Marketing Management Group to identify a potential sourcing partner, such as Li & Fung, according to people close to the company.
Hilco and Windsong, both private equity firms, are not pursuing a sale, but did buy the businesses with the intention of licensing the production for the right price, sources said. The bridge-priced Ellen Tracy and moderate-priced Caribbean Joe brand each do about $100 million in wholesale volume.
Jamie Salter, chief executive officer of Hilco, and William Sweedler, chairman and ceo of Windsong, could not be reached for comment Monday.
