Gwynnie Bee, an online women’s clothing subscription service for sizes 10 to 32, will carry Hemant & Nandita, an India-based brand.
The brand is launching its first plus size collection Tuesday. The nine-piece collection will range from sizes L to 5X, and will be available to rent exclusively on gwynniebee.com. Hemant & Nandita blends traditional Indian aesthetics and Western fashion.
Founded in 2011, Gwynnie Bee offers customers access to 3,000 styles from 150 brands, including Melissa McCarthy, Universal Standard and Elvi.
Members can sign on to gwynniebee.com and generate a personal collection of such items as tops, bottoms and dresses, through online or their mobile app. The clothing is then sent out based on their plan, which includes a flat monthly fee, with unlimited free shipping and exchanges. Members can receive about $900 to $1,200 worth of clothing at a time. There are also plan options such as one item out at a time for $49, two items for $69, and three items for $95, — options go up to 10 items out at a time for $199.
