NEW YORK — Ready-to-wear firm Ramy Brook will be moving to a new, 4,000-square-foot showroom at 231 West 39th Street, Suite 720 on Nov. 1.
The company, founded in 2010, previously operated out of founder and creative director Ramy Sharp’s apartment building on the Upper East Side.
According to Sharp, the business began in a one-bedroom apartment on her floor, and then expanded into a junior apartment. Now, the company has 10 employees and is growing, so they wanted to be in the garment district.
Ramy Brook, which manufactures in New York City, sells 170 stores in the U.S., including Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, as well as Shopbop.com.
Sharp said she is looking for a Madison Avenue location to open her first freestanding boutique within the next year.
