A selection of London-based designers and fashion brands will feature prominently at next month’s edition of The Hub trade show in Shanghai.
House of Holland, Sibling and Ryan Lo will show their fall collections on the runway and at the trade show, which runs April 9 through April 11 at Shanghai’s Lafayette Arts & Design Centre. Sibling is a recipient of the Topshop Newgen sponsorship while Hong Kong-born Ryan Lo was a LVMH Prize 2015 semifinalist.
The “British Designer Collections” initiative will also feature Fashion East founder Lulu Kennedy, who will present a crop of other emerging designers: Mimi Wade, A V Robertson, Caitlin Price and Richard Malone.
The United Kingdom’s “Fashion is Great” campaign is backing the event. As reported, the fair recently changed its dates to coincide with Shanghai Fashion Week, which runs April 8 through April 14. Similarly, the October edition of The Hub also coincided with the last season of the Shanghai shows.
