Weatherproof is planning to expand its children’s business through a new licensing deal with Q4 Designs.

Under the terms of the deal, Q4 will design and distribute boys’, girls’ and infant apparel including outerwear, sportswear and swimwear. The collection will be sold at department stores and specialty stores nationwide.

For the past four years, Weatherproof has produced children’s outerwear in-house, but the deal with Q4 also includes sportswear and swimwear.

According to Freddie Stollmack, president of Weatherproof, “While there were several childrenswear companies that desired our brand, we chose Q4 based on their strategic vision and strength in the kid’s market.”

“Q4 Group is very proud to be part of an authentic outdoor brand like Weatherproof,” said Harry Tawil, Q4 Designs group president. “We share the same values and integrity as they practice throughout their business endeavors.”
