LONDON Amy Winehouse’s design vision will live on for the next two seasons.

After consultations with the late singer’s family, Fred Perry said Monday it plans to release the fall 2011 and wholesale the spring 2012 Amy Winehouse for Fred Perry collections.


 “Amy was passionate and dedicated to the collaboration, and her signature style is clearly stamped across each piece,” Fred Perry said in a statement Monday.

“Amy’s royalties and fees from both collections will be donated to the soon-to-be-established Amy Winehouse Foundation. Fred Perry will also make a seasonal donation to the Foundation.”

The singer’s Fifties-inspired collection with Fred Perry bowed for fall 2010, and a second one was released for spring. The collaboration was set to run for four seasons, selling in Fred Perry Authentic boutiques and wholesalers globally.

After Winehouse’s death, aged 27, last month, Fred Perry had put the collection on hold, pending a meeting with the Winehouse family.

“When Fred Perry came to us to ask what we would like to do with the new collection it was natural to continue,” said Mitch Winehouse, Amy’s father, in the statement.

“Amy loved working on both collections, and would want them to be made available. All the money we make and the donation that Fred Perry will give will go straight into to the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which we are setting up to help children and young people in her name.”
