ASICS America will open a new distribution center in Marshall County, Miss. in 2011 to support its growth in the American market.
Phase I of the project includes a new 520,000-square-foot, 38-acre distribution center scheduled to open in April 2011. It will focus on footwear. Then, the current location, a 350,000-square-foot facility, will convert to focus on the distribution of apparel and accessories.
“The new distribution center will provide more square footage and the advanced level of technology required to meet ASICS’ growing demand for years to come,” said Gary Jordan, vice president of operations for the company.
