Baja East’s minion capsule collection went on sale after the brand’s show on Friday, both online and in a truck at the after party.

The vehicle, located on the third floor of a parking garage in the Financial District in New York, displayed the wares — a full Minion-themed line, inspired by the children’s movie “Despicable Me.” Shoppers had to endure the heat and overwhelming humidity of the space, which lacked the airflow of the parking garage’s rooftop, where one performer donned a banana-covered outfit from the capsule.

Prices ranged from $35 for accessories to $295 for the banana-printed short-sleeved button down shirt. While bathing suits, tank tops, Baja East x Minions Ts and stuffed Minions themselves were available, things like dresses and caftans did not appear to be on sale. The truck carried all the items in the full-size range, small to large, which in women’s sizes equated to a range of zero to 10. As of mid-evening, the Baja East x Minions Ts appeared to be the bestseller, said a truck-based salesperson.
