Canada Goose and Saks Fifth Avenue have joined forces to launch two exclusive pop-up shops for students at Boston University, Northeastern University, Emerson College and Ohio State University.
Bringing an arctic feel to Boston’s Back Bay and OSU’s Columbus campus, the Canada Goose x Saks Fifth Avenue pop-up shops will be housed inside igloo-like structures and will house a broad assortment of Canada Goose’s fall 2016 collection for women and men, as well as accessories.
The first Canada Goose x Saks Fifth Avenue pop-up shop will be open during the Friends and Family Weekends of the respective Boston universities, located outside the Snowden International School at 150 Newbury Street in Boston. (Snowden is a high school in the middle of Copley Square.) It will be open Oct. 21 from 3:30 to 6 p.m. and Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The second will take place on-campus at Ohio State outside the Ohio Union at 1739 North High Street in Columbus. It will be open Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., coinciding with Ohio State Buckeyes’ home game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Last January, Canada Goose opened is first pop-up shop during the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. The 1,100-square-foot Canada Goose pop-up shop highlighted women’s, men’s and children’s products. The company was a presenting sponsor of the film festival. In August, Canada Goose unveiled a collaboration with José Bautista, right fielder for the Toronto Blue Jays, on a limited-edition jacket.
Founded in a small warehouse in Toronto, Canada, nearly 60 years ago, Canada Goose has grown into a leading manufacturer of Arctic luxury apparel. The company employs more than 3,300 people and is recognized for its Made in Canada commitment.
