Naeem Khan is getting set to launch an exclusive fake fur line for HSN this fall.
The designer will take Timeless by Naeem Khan to the airwaves in mid-November. Khan will mark the debut Monday night at a party in his showroom with HSN’s chief executive officer Mindy Grossman, Tiger J’s ceo Mark Locks and Tissavel USA’s president Leon Schrurs.
Khan, who worked for Halston early on in his career, ventured out on his own in 2003. With distribution in more than 100 stores, his current client lists includes Harrods, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.
Manufactured by Tiger J, the collection will consist of Tissavel, the French-made fake fur that has not been sold in the U.S. before this. Khan’s label will retail from $99 for a scarf to $999 for a long fake fur coat. Tissavel International SAS first started producing woven fake fur fabrics in 1953 in the north of France, near the city of Lille.
The company claims its fabrics offer stability, warmth and longevity, and there is not the shedding that is often associated with knitted fake fur.
