Perry Ellis International will be the exclusive uniform provider for the Miami Super Bowl LIV Host Committee Volunteer Program and will provide over 10,000 uniforms to the volunteers working around the big game on Feb. 2.
The Miami-based Perry Ellis will provide each volunteer with a custom apparel kit that will include a jacket, polo, pullover, backpack and hat. The design of the uniform was inspired by the Miami lifestyle and the colors of the city and uses sustainable fabrics with performance features such as a branded quarter-zip pullover that is water-repellent and reflective.
Super Bowl LIV volunteers will serve as ambassadors throughout the South Florida region during the week leading up to the game.
The company’s employees will also participate in the Super Bowl Host Committee’s Super Kids, Super Sharing community event leading up to the game. This annual event partners corporate volunteers with the National Football League and local schools to provide needed supplies to the education districts in Miami-Dade and Broward area.
“We have the ideal strategic partner in Perry Ellis,” said Rodney Barreto, chairman of the Miami Super Bowl Host Committee. “It is a local, like-minded company with global impact that is aligned in our efforts to apply a sustainable lens to everything we do as the Host Committee for Super Bowl LIV. Our volunteers will be dressed in a way that truly reflects how we ‘Live it Miami.'”
“To be part of this iconic sporting event taking place in our very own backyard in conjunction with the NFL celebrating its 100th season is an amazing opportunity for our company,” said Oscar Feldenkreis, president and chief executive officer of Perry Ellis. “We’re proud to be part of this exciting sports phenomenon, highlighting our expertise as a global fashion house.”
