Vineyard Vines has signed a deal with Premier Lacrosse League to become the league’s official style partner.
As a result of the partnership with the country’s newest lacrosse organization, Vineyard Vines will create exclusive product that will be available for purchase during the current 2019 season as well as the 2020 season. It will consist of PLL T-shirts and Shep shirts for men, women and children that will be sold on the league’s web site.
In addition to product, the deal includes Vineyard Vines activations in each of the league’s 13 major-market cities that will include branded signs, on-field half-time entertainment for fans and T-shirt giveaways.
“We are excited to be partnering with the Premier Lacrosse League as longtime fans of lacrosse, the oldest and fastest-growing team sport in North America,” said Ian Murray, Vineyard Vines’ co-chief executive officer and cofounder.
“As brothers and entrepreneurs ourselves, Ian and I are honored to support [PLL founders] Paul Rabil and his brother, Mike, who are bringing an exceptional league to lacrosse players and fans everywhere,” said Shep Murray, Vineyard Vines’s co-ceo and cofounder.
“Mike and I drew a lot of inspiration from Ian and Shep — two brothers starting a company within their local community, then growing it into a worldwide phenomenon,” said Paul Rabil.
The partnership kicked off with PLL’s All-Star Game at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles on Sunday.
