For the Millennial generation, spring’s arrival meant three things: sun, fun and music festivals. Mother Nature provided perfect weather for a trio of annual outdoor concerts where fashion, to varying degrees, ends up being its own kind of performance. The celebration began a few weeks ago at Coachella in the California desert outside Palm Springs and culminated this past weekend with New Orleans Jazz Fest in Louisiana and SunFest in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The free-spirited boho look synonymous with Coachella seems to have caught on at the other venues — especially flowing white-lace tops, denim cut-offs and sundresses both maxi and mini — while statement sunglasses, sandals and short boots (including floral plastic cowboy styles) accessorized everything.
