LONDON — Harvey Nichols is revving up the men’s contemporary offering at its Knightsbridge, London, flagship for fall.

The retailer will introduce 22 new labels in a revamped, 3,175-square-foot space set to make its debut today on the level below the store’s lower ground floor.

The store has put a focus on U.S. streetwear labels, with a number of brands launching exclusively with Harvey Nichols in the U.K., including Monica Monroe, Trapstar Red Line, MHRS, Pyer Moss and VFiles Sport Plus.

Darren Skey, head of men’s wear at Harvey Nichols, noted “U.S. brands, particularly from New York, are becoming more important to the mix now, with the resurgence in popularity of hip-hop culture.” Hip-hop artists A$AP Rocky, Travi$ Scott and Kanye West are all “important style icons” for the store’s customers, he said.

“Slogan T-shirts, bomber jackets [and] sweatshirts are some of our best-performing categories across men’s wear for both our home and international customers,” added Skey.

To mark the launch, the space this month will showcase installations by the labels VFiles Sport Plus, Monica Monroe, Trapstar Red Line and MHRS.
