Lectra, a specialist in integrated technology solutions for industries using fabrics, leather, technical textiles and composite materials, has appointed Jason Adams as president of Lectra North America.

Based in Atlanta, Adams will report to Daniel Harari, chief executive officer of Lectra. Adams’ main objective will be to develop Lectra’s presence in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Central America in the fashion, automotive and furniture markets.

In the fashion industry, Lectra is recognized for its design and pattern-making solutions. Its comprehensive offer for collection development reaches beyond conventional Profit Lifecycle Management solutions, particularly by integrating the entire range of its computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing software.

Before joining Lectra, Adams helped position Camstar and Apriso among the leading independent Manufacturing Execution System solution providers. As vice president of sales, Americas and Europe at Camstar, he promoted the launch of the life sciences practice, which grew to 80 percent of annual revenues.

In his position as vice president of sales at Apriso, he developed the business in several existing and new markets, including automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace and defense, and medical device manufacturers. Following the company’s acquisition by Dassault Systèmes, Adams was promoted to vice president for the Americas and was in charge of the Delmia brand.

Lectra’s solutions, specific to each market, enable customers to automate and optimize product design, development and manufacturing. Established in 1973 and based in France, Lectra has more than 1,500 employees. The company  has developed relationships with customers in more than 100 countries, contributing to their operational excellence. Lectra registered revenues of $264 million in 2015 and is listed on Euronext.
