Polartec LLC has released the 12 winners of its annual Polartec Apex Award, a design prize that recognizes the finest Polartec-based products available to consumers this year and the designers behind them.
Judges selected winning designs based on skill and creativity with Polartec fabric technologies.
“We put a lot of effort into developing the world’s most advanced fabrics,” said Gary Smith, chief executive officer of Polartec, based in Lawrence, Mass. “It is a real honor to celebrate the creativity and technical prowess applied by our partners in these 2016 Apex Award winners.”
Every winner is meant to represent Polartec fabric innovation and design inspiration, and the winning designers are being recognized with a Malden statue. Malden Mills was the predecessor company to Polartec. Upcoming Polartec marketing content will feature these product stories.
