While some will still be sending out their spring looks on the runways, designers will be keeping an eye out on fabrics for fall 2005. Next week’s Première Vision in Paris will no doubt spark many ideas. Among the biggest trends there will be luminous fabrics, from those with all-out shine — such as this one from Bucol — to more subtle looks. Mills are mixing metallics into wool-blended tweeds or featuring them in laces and pattern-heavy jacquards and prints. Première Vision will be held at Parc d’Expositions, Nord Villepinte, from Sept. 21-24. For a sneak peek at some of the trends to be seen there, see the articles and photo spreads under “WWDPremiere Vision Preview.”
