PRINTING PEDAGOGY: The American Association of Textile Chemists & Colorists and TC2 are set to cosponsor “Printing 2005: A Digital Reality,” a symposium that provides an introduction to product development for conventional textile printing methods and will highlight technologies and applications for the digital printing process. The three-day event runs May 24-26 at the New School University in New York. Chaired by Brooks Tippett, director of textile development at Pantone, the symposium will feature presenters that will share their experiences with digital sampling and short-run printing. The course costs $800.
