Abercrombie & Fitch Co. has named Ashley Sargent Price senior vice president and creative director of marketing.
Price reports to Fran Horowitz, president and chief merchandising officer for the retailer. Her responsibilities include overseeing the creative marketing for all the brands — the core Abercrombie brand, abercrombie kids and Hollister Co. — and the company’s internal photo studio. She will also oversee the firm’s marketing operations.
Before joining the teen retailer, Price was senior vice president of brand creative at J. Crew. During her 10-year tenure there, she oversaw the creative teams for J. Crew, Crewcuts and Madewell. Price also has held positions at Anthropologie, Ann Taylor Loft, Gap and Urban Outfitters.
Price said, “It is a great time to be a part of the company and I look forward to working closely with the team to develop engaging content and unique brand experiences for our global consumer.”
Horowitz added that Price’s experience with globally recognized brands “will be valuable for us and she will play a significant role in evolving our brand positions.”
