Jeanetta Darno has joined Abercrombie & Fitch as vice president of diversity and inclusion.
According to A&F, Darno will be responsible for “enhancing the existing global diversity and inclusion best practices” throughout the organization. She will also guide the company’s overall diversity strategy. Darno will report to John Gabrielli, senior vice president and head of human resources.
Darno is a seasoned HR executive. She joins the specialty chain from Huntington National Bank, where she was senior vice president of diversity and inclusion.
Gabrielli said, “We are committed to fostering an environment that embraces diverse perspectives from across our organization. Creating an inclusive culture is a priority for our business and serves as a cornerstone of our corporate values.” Gabrielli also noted that Darno brings 22 years of experience and a “solid track record of achievement” to her role at A&F.
