AFTER EIGHT: Juun.J is upping his visibility. The Korean designer, best known for his puffy parkas and bulky sweaters, is launching a global pop-up store project, WWD has learned.
The series of 11 temporary venues will be set up simultaneously in eight different countries, running from June 13 through July 6 at L’Eclaireur in Paris, Opening Ceremony in New York and Lazy Hazy Planet in Tokyo, among others.
On the racks: a street-style capsule collection designed especially for the occasion in collaboration with U.S. sign painter Josh Luke, who already lent his hand to Juun.J’s fall collection.
The capsule will include T-shirts, sweaters, bomber jackets, backpacks and New Era caps.
Juun.J counts about 60 points of sale in 25 countries.
