Alice + Olivia designer Stacey Bendet has enlisted a slew of celebrities in fashion, entertainment and music to walk in the Los Angeles show she’s staging on Wednesday at NeueHouse Hollywood, and where the brand’s first see-now-buy-now collection in partnership with Neiman Marcus, will be on display.
Emily Ratajkowski, Kourtney Kardashian, Lindsey Vonn, Anna Paquin, Krysten Ritter, Addison Timlin, Ashley Greene, Mia Moretti, Alyssa Campanella, Shaun Ross, Moby, Mischa Barton, Alyssa Milano, Ashley Hinshaw, Arden Cho, Beau Garrett, Caggie Dunlop, Whitney Port, ZZ Ward…and the list goes on…and on…and on.
The festival-themed collection will be accompanied by music by The Dolls and Ana Calderon and will feature Alice + Olivia’s Grateful Dead capsule along with limited-edition items from the spring collection. Bendet knows something about the Dead; her husband, Eric Eisner, is producing a documentary about the legendary band with Martin Scorsese and several others, with production slated to be finished this summer.
Alice + Olivia has a following in Hollywood with fans such as Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwyneth Paltrow. It’s no coincidence that Bendet, who is obviously a big music fan, chose the April 13 date for the runway show — it happens to be the Wednesday before the start of Coachella.
Tickets for the runway show look like slightly tattered concert tickets that saw lots of good times, and read: “Backstage Pass, Welcome to the Green Room.”
The collection will be available at aliceandolivia.com and neimanmarcus.com.
