Anil Arjandas will open its first U.S. store next month in West Hollywood, as the luxury accessories company embarks on a plan to grow Stateside.
The new store, located in the Sunset Plaza shopping center on Sunset Boulevard, covers about 1,000 square feet and is expected to offer some men’s and women’s designs exclusive to that location.
The 15-year-old firm, headquartered in Spain, currently has four stores, operating in Marbella; Gstaad, Switzerland; and London. Its line ranges from $100 to $25,000 at retail.
“We have already been selling throughout the United States for several years and 30 percent of our followers come from the U.S.A.,” said Rogelio Ruiz, ceo of the company’s U.S. business. “It was natural for us to think of opening a store in the U.S.A. and also to open in Los Angeles, where fashion and luxury is part of everyday life.”
The company’s five-year plan calls for at least one store opening annually in a major U.S. city such as New York, Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas and Dallas.
A second U.S. store could open as early as the end of the year in either New York or Miami.
