LONDON — Anya Hindmarch has inked a franchise agreement with the Etoile Group, which will see the luxury accessories brand open stores and concessions in the Gulf region.
The brand will debut in Abu Dhabi at Tryano, the luxury concept store in the Yas Island Mall, in November. This will be followed by an Anya Hindmarch store in Riyadh early in 2016, which will be in line with the retail concept at the recently reopened Bond Street store in London — minus the bespoke service.
“In a phase of strategic global growth and development for the company, we consider our investment in this market a priority,” said Anya Hindmarch chief executive officer Helen Wright.
Led by Ingie Chalhoub, the Etoile Group has previously licensed and launched brands in the region, including Chanel, Valentino, Ralph Lauren and Tod’s. “It is our aim to reinforce the strength of the brand and develop its presence in the region, making Anya Hindmarch a reference of contemporary luxury in the Gulf area,” said Chalhoub.
