Overbooked: Beautybooked is about to take the digital beauty booking experience to another level with Beautypass, a monthly subscription service where customers can sign up for unlimited beauty benefits. The first product offering, among many, is unlimited blowouts for $99 a month.
The new feature launches today in Manhattan at select salons like Butterfly Studio Salon, Paul Labrecque and Salon SCK.
“With the launch of Beautypass, our mission is to make it even easier and more accessible by being the one-stop solution for all of your beauty booking needs,” said Hillary Hutcheson, cofounder of Beautybooked, who added that the reservation platform has experienced double to triple digit growth month over month.
The company, whose technology powers salon and spa booking functionality on allure.com, is currently exploring ways to integrate its partnership with the magazine into Beautypass, but at this time nothing is confirmed.
Meanwhile, Beautypass will continue to roll out new features throughout 2015 including more unlimited services like manicures, spray tans and spa services priced from $49 to $99. Also, it will offer a concierge service that will secure an appointment at a location 10 minutes away from the client. The user will receive a text or email within 15 minutes confirming the details.
Ritika Gill, cofounder of Beautybooked, added,“Providing our members with high-quality services from trusted salons is very important to us as we increase the number of salons and spas participating in Beautypass, which is growing every day.”
