NEW YORK — Fine jewelry brand Cartier unveiled a boutique Monday at Saks Fifth Avenue here.
The 1,650-square-foot space, designed by French architect Bruno Moinard and Barteluce Architects & Associates, is the brand’s second boutique with the department store (the first opened at Saks Fifth Avenue Dadeland in Miami in 2003).
In addition to signature collections such as Panthère de Cartier, Trinity and the Love collection, Cartier will offer one-of-a-kind creations, engagement rings and bridal jewelry. There’s also a Watch Salon stocked with timepieces from the Ballon Bleu, Tank, Santos, Pasha and Roadster collections, as well as new additions Delicés de Cartier and Calibre de Cartier.
“The new boutique is located within one of New York’s premiere shopping destinations, providing Saks Fifth Avenue and Cartier clients with an open environment that beautifully showcases Cartier jewelry, watches, accessories and fragrance collections. We look forward to welcoming clients to the new boutique and continuing our partnership with Saks Fifth Avenue,” said Mercedes Abramo, vice president of retail for Cartier North America, of the store-in-store, decorated in a muted, neutral palette with oak wood paneling and floors, and glass displays with bronze detailing.
Cartier has 34 freestanding stores in the U.S. and two in Canada.
