Coach is bulking up its brand communications team. The New York-based company has named Caroline Deroche Pasquier senior vice president, global public relations and communications, and Jo Baldwin as vice president, global head of creative studio. Victor Luis, chief executive officer, cited the appointments as “the latest steps taken to broaden our organization capabilities.” “Caroline and Jo will play key roles in messaging the brand’s emergence as a modern luxury house of design, building upon our heritage as America’s original house of leather,” he added.
Pasquier succeeds Jason Weisenfeld, who left the company in May 2014. She joins from LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, where she most recently served as the communication director for Givenchy. Prior to that, she was the international press and public relations director for Louis Vuitton. In her new role, she will report directly to Luis and Stuart Vevers, executive creative director.
Baldwin comes from Net-a-porter Group, where she led all visual direction as the executive creative director for Net-a-porter.com. She also has worked for the British editions of Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Glamour. As vice president, global head of creative studio — a new position — Baldwin will be responsible for the concept, design and development of all image-led creative, such as social media, print and packaging.
