GO-GO WATER: Marking the first step of its revival under new owners, Courrèges has become the latest fashion brand to collaborate with Evian on a limited-edition mineral water bottle. The Space Age house has produced an upbeat design of hot pink and white flowers, which it plans to unveil during Fashion’s Night Out celebrations on Sept. 8 at its store in Paris and at Jeffrey in New York, which resumes carrying the brand this season.
Founders André and Coqueline Courrèges sold the label in January to Frédéric Torloting and Jacques Bungert, two branding experts with a strong track record in advertising, who plan to expand distribution and introduce more accessible product lines. Evian has previously collaborated with Jean Paul Gaultier, Issey Miyake, Paul Smith and Christian Lacroix. The bottles will go on sale in France in late October and in the United States from Thanksgiving.
