LONDON — Cradle Holdings Ltd., which owns the fragrance brands Penhaligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur, has appointed Lance Patterson chief executive officer and a member of its board of directors. Cradle Holdings Ltd. is an affiliate of Fox Paine & Company, LLC, a private equity firm based in Woodside, Calif. Patterson succeeds Sarah Rotheram at Cradle Holdings. Rotherham has left the business to become ceo of Aspinal of London, the luxury leather goods label.
Patterson has joined Cradle Holdings from Peter Thomas Roth Clinical Skincare, where he served as co-president. Prior to that, he was a senior executive at Bare Escentuals and at several cosmetics divisions of LVMH Moet Hennessy, including Benefit Cosmetics, Acqua Di Parma and Bliss.
Saul Fox, founding member of Fox Paine, commented: “Given Lance Patterson’s track record building highly profitable and rapidly growing global luxury brands, he is ideally suited to oversee Penhaligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur’s efforts going forward.”
