Dassault Systèmes, a 3-D software company, recently revealed its new partnership with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., India’s largest fashion and lifestyle company. The collaboration was released during ShopTalk in Las Vegas.
Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail selected from Dassault Systèmes 3-D Experience platform its “My Collection” option, which acts as a consumer goods, fashion and retail product lifecycle management, or PLM, solution. The single solution accelerates time to market for fashion collections and manages retail lines from conception to merchandising by integrating the supply chain from factories to retailers and streamlining communication between employees and suppliers. It also enables brands to connect internal and external stakeholders, reduce material, and trim costs and eliminate production errors or delays.
“My Collection” is said to improve product development processes and speed to market from 30 percent to 70 percent, according to Dassault Systèmes.
