E-Pitti, the portal of Florence-based trade show organizer Pitti Immagine launched with FieraDigitale in 2011, has teamed with Italian fashion group Miroglio for the upcoming edition of Decoded Fashion Milan. The summit dedicated to the intersection between digital technologies and the fashion industry will take place at Talent Garden Milano Calabiana Nov. 15 to 16.
A partner of this latest edition, Miroglio — which controls the Elena Miro’ and Caractére brands among others — will have the chance to select one of the finalists’ projects of The Fashion Pitch, Decoded Fashion’s start-up competition, which this year is focused on the innovation of the fashion supply chain.
This partnership is in line with Miroglio’s investments in digital solutions. On Thursday, the group will present “Tailor Italy,” the first online platform dedicated to customization.
E-Pitti’s digital fairs closed last months with an 11 percent increase of visits compared to previous year.
“This increase might be bigger, but we are really trying to focus exclusively on the highest segment of the distributive chain,” said Pitti Immagine chief executive officer Raffaello Napoleone.
