ALL IN THE FAMILY: The Duchess of Cambridge took a break from her maternity leave on Saturday to take part in the annual Trooping the Colour celebrations on Saturday that mark the official birthday of Queen Elizabeth, who turned 89 on April 21.
The military parade marked the first public outing for the young royal since she gave birth to her second child, Princess Charlotte on May 2. The Duchess donned a robin’s egg blue and white Catherine Walker coatdress and rode in a horse-drawn carriage with Prince Harry and the Duchess of Cornwall down The Mall.
Prince George waved to the crowds from the window of Kensington Palace and later appeared on the balcony, in Prince William’s arms, to watch the celebratory flyover at 1:00 pm.
London was buzzing this weekend, with the queen’s celebrations and London Collections: Men, which began on Friday and runs through Monday, June 15.
