MILAN — With the goal to strengthen the effectiveness of the group’s brand strategy and emphasizing the ever-increasing importance of communication, Ermenegildo Zegna has combined its fashion and corporate public relations into a single function. The Italian men’s wear group has established a new p.r. and communication department under the lead of Domenico Galluccio, effective June 3.
Galluccio was previously director of worldwide p.r. and media at Moncler, where, during his 11-year tenure, he saw the brand publicly list in 2013 on the Italian Stock Exchange and, most recently, launch the Moncler Genius project last year. He will report to Luca Lo Curzio, chief marketing and digital officer at Zegna.
As part of the new p.r. and media function, Valentina Abbà will head fashion communication and Gloria Ravizza will lead corporate communication.
Former worldwide corporate communication director Giulia Pessina will take on a new role as head of social impact marketing and communication, reporting to Anna Zegna, president of Fondazione Zegna. This marks the company’s growing commitment to social responsibility.
