Eyeking, a performance-sunglasses label based in Melville, N.Y., has brought Scott Betty on board as senior vice president of product and design. Betty has more than 20 years experience in the eyewear and sporting-goods industry, including his most recent position as global director of optics for Oakley, where he was responsible for product development and design for sunglasses, prescription products and goggles. He also oversaw Oakley’s apparel, footwear and accessories.

Scott has also worked at Converse and Adidas, and held a biomechanics specialist role at the U.S Olympic Training Center.
