Fendi is lighting up the holiday season with its new Fendi ID-ea lightbulbs. These will appear on the trees and Christmas decorations being unveiled this month in various locations around the globe.
In particular, 350 light bulbs in red, white and gold will be assembled to create the 17-foot tree that will be installed on Saturday in the courtyard of Rome’s luxury Hotel de Russie, where Fendi will host a Christmas cocktail party on Dec. 10.
Also on Saturday, Fendi will light up a 29.5-foot tree in Rome’s Largo Goldoni. Made of 250 reproductions of the brand’s iconic Baguette bag, the tree will be topped with a Fendi ID-ea lightbulb showing a special sparkling effect.
The lightbulbs also will be used at some Chinese high-end shopping destinations. In Beijing, the brand’s colorful bulbs will decorate the frame of Shin Kong Place, where a maxi Christmas tree will be installed, while in Shanghai, Fendi will create a special installation inside the Plaza 66 mall.
